Hamlet has been told many times and have been acted out by many different people. Although the version with Mel gibson is 3 hours long they act it out so well it never gets boring. Critics say that this version is not the best when in comes to telling “hamlet” but it makes for a good story.
This video was i guess set in Japan and it has to do with a little girl wants to be a musician but the odd are agsindt her. Everyone in the video tells her that she needs to just give up because she is deaft and is not going to be able to make it in the music world. The old man was deaft and gave her the courage to do it. And in the end she won.
This bird is remarkable. It is amazing how it can mimic the sounds of others so well. The way it imitated the camera and the car alarm was just amazing. But it some ways it shows that we are venturing to close to there homes. When it mimicked the sound of a chain saw it was not good. That just goes to show that they are cutting to close to there homes.
This activity shows that we judge people by there look. Which in the world that is what we do, everyone, wether we realize it not i do it and so do you, everyone judges everyone. Buts it hard to look at someone and decide what nationality or race someone is. You could just be dark skinned but not black or mexican you just have dark skin. On this activity i got 13 out of 20. On some of the darker skin people i assumed they were not white when they were. This activity was a good way to show how much we judge. I was not sure who was indian but i did seem to get the asians right. But this activity was cool.
The website that I posed above really shows the effects using statics and more. Today the media has a major roll in infuencing girls and boys of all ages. In the website in shows how 4 out of 5 people go on diets. The media shows a fake image with digitalizing them. No where in the media do you read, see, or hear them telling young girls to be themselves and that who your are is more important than what you look like. So many girls and boys get depressed about that looks as young as 8 and 10 years old little girls are being told they are fat and trying to lose weight when they don’t need to because they have not even lost their baby fat yet. The media has such an influence it would be nice to see some postive heathly images that inspire self confince not destory it.
I have never blogged before so this will be a new experiment and i will comment on it when i am done trying it out
